Why do I charge separately for shipping?

I try to keep the prices in my shop as fair and affordable as possible. Instead of raising the price of every item to cover the cost of “free” shipping, I charge one flat shipping rate of $8.99 per order.

That means whether you purchase one item or several, you pay the same flat shipping rate—and the prices of the products themselves aren't marked up to cover hidden shipping costs.

For customers purchasing multiple items, this can mean more savings overall. I would rather be transparent about what you're paying for than build shipping costs into every product you add to your cart.
